Jana Ham
My experiences in both entrepreneurship and being a former student at the University of Regina have connected me with the SYPE group and the local entrepreneurial community that I am proud to be a part of. Having previously held a SYPE Regina membership and attended various SYPE events and volleyball tournaments, I would like to join the SYPE Saskatoon board to be a part of the local network of young, local entrepreneurs. I see entrepreneurship as a tool to solve social, economic, and environmental issues and am passionate about what myself and the people in this entrepreneurial community can accomplish with the support of groups like this.
Paul Langlois
I am interested in putting my name forward for the general/entrpenuer member seat.
I will bring my. 6 years of experience as an electrical contractor and entrepreneur. I find myself uniquely poised to liaison to the construction and building trades in Saskatoon to become member and benefit from the community that is SYPE.
Jesse Wiebe
From a young age, I have always sought ways to give back to my community. Student leadership positions, hosting events and now, investing in local start ups are just a few of the ways I have done that work. I would like to add SYPE Board member to that list. It is clear to me that SYPE is a key player in the Saskatchewan business and entrepreneurial community. The mission and vision for SYPE aligns well with the work I am already doing with my family and Startup TNT. I believe that I can help the organization achieve its goals, bringing a unique perspective, experience and skillset to the already stacked team of Board members.
Aidan Penner
“Hi, my name is Aidan Penner. I am a senior accountant with KPMG in Saskatoon, and am pursuing my CPA designation which I expect to obtain upon completion of the CFE in the fall of 2022. Outside of accounting, I referee hockey in various leagues including the WHL, Canada West, and the SJHL.
I believe I would be an asset to the board due to my financial background, as well as my strong work ethic and responsible and reliable nature. Additionally, I believe my ability to work in group settings, as well as existing relationships with current board members would allow me to integrate quickly and hit the ground running.
During my time in university, I greatly enjoyed being involved in various activities, with the Edwards JDC West team being one of them. Since graduating two years ago, I have been able to give back through my involvement as a coach. Community involvement is a passion of mine, and I am always looking for more ways to participate. I cannot think of a better way than with the group at SYPE Saskatoon.
